NW Diamond Sports “On the Mound” Pitching Clinic is back in January 2012!  Saturdays 2 – 3:30pm

NWDS students have the opportunity to learn their craft from pitchers who have trained and competed at the collegiate and professional levels of baseball.  This basic to advanced clinic boasts a knowledgeable staff whose mission is to give back to baseball by teaching our local youth pitchers how to lead a team and what it means to be on the mound!  Check out our clinic features below…

Ages: 12 – 18     4:1 Player - Instructor Ratio     Dates: January 7^th, 14^th, 21^st, 28^th - 1Hr 45Min Sessions (2-3:45pm)

Roster Space for 24 Pitchers (sold out in 2011 – will open additional session if necessary)

Pitching Mechanics – How To Execute/Why: breakdown of pitching delivery – phases, mechanics, fundamentals

Training – How to Condition a Strong, Repeatable Delivery: executing drills, reinforcing proper mechanics

Refining Your Delivery – Feel, Analyze, Adjust: increase proprioception (mind to body connection), making adjustments through Proper Instruction, Video Analysis and Evaluation, and following a Plan for Development

Building a Philosophy – What Works for You: learning basic to advanced philosophy, using what works for your skill set
