Q. Do you offer private instruction?

Northwest Diamond Sports offers instruction in a variety of settings including: private instruction, small group instruction, team training, camps and clinics, and diamond visits. Rates vary from $40-$75 per session and all types of instruction are offered seven days a week.

Instructors prefer to work with each player a minimum of 4-6 weeks to ensure that each player we work with has a solid understanding of the skills necessary to be successful on the field. Ideally, we will have the opportunity to work with a player for 3-6 months prior to their season start and will continue working with that player through out their season to help them make minor adjustments to their mechanics or approach which all players need at some point and time during their season.

While training we can not stress enough about the importance of keeping a consistent and persistent routine. This is why we offer instruction packages for players who are serious about taking their game to the next level and want to continue their work in pre, in, and off-season training.

Q. What is the cost of instruction?

Instruction prices vary according to session length, number of players, and number of instructors but typically range from $40 - $75. Sessions are offered in ½ hour to 2 hour settings and can be arranged for one-on-one instruction, small group instruction, full team instruction, or entire program/organization instruction. Q. How do I schedule a time for instruction?

You can schedule appointments or Contact Us by email or phone at (503) 888-6783 . You can also contact one of our instructors directly by phone or e-mail. Each instructor’s contact information can be found in the Contact Us page. When scheduling instruction it is helpful to have a preference for days of the week as well as times preferred to help instructors get you the best time available as it pertains to your schedule.


Q. Do you offer additional training such as strength and conditioning programs?

Instruction is also offered in camps, clinics, small group, and team practice settings. Throwing, strength, conditioning, flexibility and speed, quickness & agility programs can be implemented into instruction or set-up as additional training options for instruction sessions.

Q. Do you offer discount packages?

Yes, we offer discounts on private instruction for your client referrals, participation in camps and clinics, booking your lessons in advance. Our client referral program states that if you refer a client to us who makes a purchase of a half hour of instruction or more we will give you the value of a half hour of instruction as a token of our appreciation. If you book 10 hours of instruction in advance we will give you a punch card and once you have trained in those 10 hours of instruction we will credit you with an additional hour of instruction at no cost. Q. What are your buisness hours?

Northwest Diamond Sports is open 7 days a week. We don't have set hours because our instructors are by appointment only. In other words we will adjust to your schedule. Q. Can I get a walk in lesson if I don't have an appointment?

We are by appointment only. However, if one of our instructors is open we will be more than glad to help out.
