November Madness is finally here.  The first four weeks have been a lot of fun, but this week separates the men from the boys.  Attached below and within the e-mail is the 2010 November Madness Bracket, 2010 Power Rankings based off of wins and total losses and the Home Run King List.  The times listed below are not changeable, I am very sorry.  Call me if you are in a jam, we might be able to delay a game by a few minutes.   

                First of all, I want to explain how November Madness will work.  Your time and ranking is listed below and attached, if your team had the same power ranking as another team the higher ranking went to the team with the most cumulative home runs.  Each game will be best out of 5 series or half hour time limit.  If your team wins you stay, if you lose you go home.  The Semi Finals and Championship games will be a best out of 7 series, there will be no time limit in the Semis and Championship games.  I have formatted the games where you will not wait more than a half hour in between games.  If you are a lower ranking team and make it all the way through the bracket, I recommend bringing a snack and water because you could be at the academy for up to three and half hours. 

Another high intensity Sunday for the NW Diamond Sports Hitting League.  Team Hummel sure has stepped its game up defeating Team Bowmen, who has suffered a tough shoulder injury in their lineup (Reimer).  Team Nipp upset a very strong team Kelly, placing team Nipp in first place for pool B.  Team Sporre in pool D got their first win over the  Children of the Corn and the Game Cocks also received their first W over team Hays.  There are four teams waiting to play on Tuesday 11/9/10.  T-SQUAD is battling Farrenkopf and Prentice (Addison) will be gunning for the power house Gelfand team.  Things within the Power Ranking will be changing after tomorrow night.  It will be interesting to see how the bracket will look after week 4.   

For the Home Run King, Hunter Spriggs is still Blowing Up! Leading the pack with 11 Home Runs over the second place Austin Kelly with 7.  Remember the HR King is based off of the player with the most HR's over the course of the first 4 weeks. That means the there is only one more week to get the HR KING TROPHY! It is a tight race and anyone can win, it just depends on who is hot!
